Sad news: Tiger Woods has parted ways with swing coach Hank Haney — though not in the fashion many had expected.

In another setback amid a distressing two weeks in Woods' professional life, Haney informed the golfer late Monday that he was ending the six-year relationship that had collaborated for six of the golfer's 14 major titles.
That came one week after Woods missed the cut at the Quail Hollow Championship — recording the worst 36-hole score of his professional career.
"I know that Tiger Woods will be successful in the future no matter who helps him."
"I would like to make it clear that this is my decision," Haney said in a statement released to Golf Channel.
Haney's resignation came a little more than 24 hours after Woods had to withdraw mid-round for the first time in his career. Neck problems caused golf's No. 1 draw to limit his final Players Championship round to seven holes.
I hope that Tiger Woods and his swing coach Hank Haney are both happy in their life from now on.
